Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church Youth and Children's Ministry
Our youth and children's ministry is very important to us at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. The foundation of our youth ministry begins with Sunday School. Sunday School is the primary place where our youth engage in a weekly Bible Study. Sunday School is held 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays directly after church services and 2nd Sunday at 9:00 AM. Our classes are age appropriate consisting of toddler, primary, jr. and teen classes. We invite you to join us as we continue to study God's word in Sunday School.
Children's church is held every
2nd Sunday. It is designed with
the younger child in mind. A simple Bible lesson along with an activity helps keep younger children focused while parents attend worship service. The children accompany their parents into worship service and after the financial offering are invited to join the children's church. Children are engaged in age appropriate lessons enriched with crafts and music. Children's Church is designed for ages 2-10. Older youth are encouraged to assist the teachers in Children's Church.
Saturday Academy is full of excitement working for the Lord. The morning is packed with Girl Scouts, Choir Practice, Dance and Mime, Recreation, Tutorials and lunch. We meet every 4th Saturday beginning at 9:00 AM. After rehearsals and practices, the children may enjoy an outing such as bowling, movies, pizza, etc. Saturday Academy has something for all ages and we encourage all youth to join us at the Academy.
